University of Texas System
For the University of Texas System, a 14-institution educational system spread across the state, business aviation led to a successful organizational assessment. By investing in business aviation for the employee travel, the university was able to conduct strategic focus groups more efficiently and at a lower cost than with commercial aviation.
“If we didn’t have our pilots and the airplane, we wouldn’t have been able to meet with 551 faculty and staff members in the time the chancellor asked,” said Susan Franzen, assistant vice chancellor, organizational effectiveness, University of Texas System. “We would never have been able to afford it.”
