A new resource published by the No Plane No Gain campaign combines real-world examples of the indisputable value that business aircraft offer to companies of all sizes with proven data points demonstrating how business aviation helps save time, increase productivity and provide value.
In addition to testimonials from respected leaders who use business aviation to help manage their companies, the resource also features statements from entities outside the aviation industry that explain the numerous advantages offered by the use of business aircraft.
“The bottom line is that business aviation is a vital tool for companies of all sizes, offering safe, secure and flexible transportation worldwide while enhancing their competitiveness throughout the global marketplace,” the resource states. “Rather than a luxury, business aviation is an indispensable resource in managing the world’s most successful companies and ensuring they are capable of meeting the needs and expectations of their customers.”
The eight-page booklet offers insight about the value of business aircraft from an article in the prestigious Harvard Business Review regarding the demanding schedules of chief executive officers, or CEOs. “They, more than anyone else in the organization, confront an acute scarcity of one resource. That resource is time,” the article states, adding that CEOs often perform more than half of their work “while visiting other company locations, meeting external constituencies, commuting, traveling and at home.”
The resource also highlights data from studies and surveys conducted by NEXA Advisors, The Harris Poll and others detailing the importance of business aircraft, including findings that business aviation users represent 84 percent of all S&P 500 companies and accounted for 96 percent of total revenue; that business aircraft users outperform non-users by 23 percent in revenue growth; and that 98 percent of Fortune magazine’s Top 50 “World’s Most Admired Companies” use business aviation.
