Want to let your social media followers know about the value business aviation brings to companies and communities around the country? The No Plane No Gain “Business Aviation Works” initiative is the best way to get the message out, according to NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.

Using the hashtag #BizAvWorks, industry stakeholders and supporters are encouraged to tell the story of how the industry helps their companies be successful, connects their communities with others or provides humanitarian aid to those in need.

“Tweet about how great it is to be a part of business aviation, about how this industry is doing good things for companies and communities in our country,” Bolen told the more than 1,700 attendees at a recent NBAA Regional Forum, held March 23 at Meacham Airport in Fort Worth, TX. “Let’s let people know about how valuable our industry is.”

Bolen also urged forum attendees to pick up #BizAvWorks stickers and cards, and distribute them to colleagues and industry stakeholders to spread the word about the campaign.

“This is an industry that generates over 1 million jobs, and it has an impact of over $200 billion on our nation’s economy,” Bolen said.

The No Plane No Gain advocacy campaign, a joint undertaking of NBAA and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), educates policymakers and opinion leaders about the value of business aviation to citizens, companies and communities across the United States. NBAA and GAMA encourage those following the campaign to post on social media their own reasons why #BizAvWorks, or share the campaign’s graphics with followers.
